Send us your own controller. This is a professional mail-in upgrade for a genuine Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Wireless Controller Model 1914. A replacement controller or loose parts are not supplied.

Supported Model / Compatibility

For genuine Microsoft Model 1914 controllers only. Your controller must power on normally and have no severe motherboard damage, significant liquid damage or damage caused by previous repair attempts. Contact us about additional faults before shipping. We request approval before additional chargeable work.

What's Included

  • Installation of two K-Silver TMR joystick modules and new magnetic thumbstick base assemblies.
  • Precision microsoldering and internal cleaning.
  • Joystick calibration, dead-zone and circularity testing.
  • Controller functionality testing and a firmware update when applicable.

Mail-In Process

  1. Place your Shopify order for the applicable service.
  2. Receive the order-specific mailing address and shipping instructions after order placement.
  3. Securely package and send your Model 1914 controller.
  4. We install, calibrate and test the upgrade.
  5. After completion, pay the manual Square invoice; your controller is returned with tracking.

Send only the controller unless instructed otherwise. Do not include batteries, cables or accessories. Include your order number and model. Follow the Mail-In Instructions.

Turnaround

Target turnaround is two business days Monday–Friday after receipt, excluding transit time and service-specific exceptions.

Calibration / Testing

Testing includes joystick dead zone and circularity, buttons, triggers, USB and wireless connectivity, followed by final inspection. Firmware is updated when applicable.

Important Compatibility Information

Check the model number before purchasing. The installed joystick modules have adjustable tension. International mail-in repair services are not offered.

Payment and Return Shipping

Every order is manually invoiced through Square, separate from Shopify. Physical products ship after invoice payment; mail-in repairs are invoiced after completion and returned after payment. Mixed orders are allowed. You pay inbound mail-in shipping; successful initial repair return shipping is included in the service price and paid by Outsource Repairs. If repair fails before payment, only return shipping is invoiced and the device returns after that charge is paid; if repair payment was collected, it is refunded minus return shipping. No unsuccessful repair/service charge applies unless other work is separately authorized. Warranty shipping is separate; customers pay both directions unless separately approved. This service is U.S.-only. Your Shopify shipping address is the return address. Private mailing instructions follow Shopify order placement. See Shipping & Returns.

24-Month Warranty

The limited 24-month warranty begins when you receive the repaired controller. It covers installed parts and workmanship associated with this upgrade. Unrelated failures, misuse, liquid or physical damage and unauthorized modifications are not normally covered. Customers pay warranty shipping both directions unless separately approved. Place your Shopify order, then receive private mailing instructions. Your shipping address is the return address.
